Megan takes her work seriously – to a point. Recreation holds a special place in her heart, so her style is to bring positivity and joy into an organization. She believes you can follow the rules and have fun along the way.

At Optas, Megan oversees all the firm’s HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment/retention, benefit administration, training programs, labor law compliance, and policies and procedures.

Before joining Optas, Megan worked in local government for 15 years and in HR specifically for 8. She served as Human Resources Officer for the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District as well as Human Resources Analyst for the Town of Danville.

Megan is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area and lives there with her husband, Mickey, who is an elementary school teacher, and their three children. She enjoys going to the beach, camping and spending time with her family.
